Chicago's annual St. Patrick's Day Parade features hundreds of marching groups and floats -- including one that features many of the previous years' St. Patrick's Day Parade Queens. Catherine was the 1976 St. Patrick's Day Queen -- and joined fellow former queens on Saturday for a great ride down Columbus Drive seeing thousands of old friends and new ones, too.

Chicago's annual St. Patrick's Day celebrations traditionally start at Old St. Patrick's Church in downtown Chicago. Catherine has been singing at Old St. Pat's for almost twenty years now and this year's St. Patrick's Day weekend is no different. Here she is taking the lead solo on "Holy Is Your Name" as part of the Mass celebrating the Feast of St. Patrick on Saturday
March 15th.

Sacred & Spirited Concert Photos - June 2, 2002
Catherine's first concert was a huge success. Old St. Patrick's Church in Chicago was the location for an evening of Celtic music, ranging from the favorite hymns featured on her recent CD “I Arise Today” to the favorite party pieces and pub tunes she sang when first she won the hearts of Chicago.
The evening began in the main church hall where Catherine sang eleven songs separated by well chosen anecdotes. There was a short interval as guests and musicians relocated to the downstairs hall where refreshments were waiting. When everyone was settled, Catherine continued to sing another ten songs with more anecdotes and she mingled with the audience during breaks between the songs. It made for a very friendly
atmosphere and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
